#12

10/24/2016

The approach in the video of this week is everything but traditional.
Even though Caleb Teicher describes it as being inspired by clogging, flatfooting and tap dance, the choice of the music (electro), the bias of setting up the sound of the soft shoes at the same level as the music (even a little below sometimes) and the surprising footwork and moves of the dancers combined with a camera always in motion, often closed-up on the feet leads to an astounishing result where the feet of the dancers seem to be conscious living beings, leading the whole body.
